IN & OUT TRADING LTD CELEBRATES ITS 15 YEARS OF EXISTENCE

Managed by Mr. Gerard Mahon, In & Out Trading Ltd celebrates this month its 15th anniversary.

It is with a lot of nostalgia that its director, who now manages his own company recalls the 22 years spent at La Nouvelle Quincaillerie Mauricienne, La Compagnie Générale and Viger Ltd. Having worked in many departments, Mr. Gerard Mahon, now aged 54, has stayed humble and grateful to his mentors, particularly to those who guided him on how to climb the corporate ladder and most importantly, those who had faith in him. He remembers this sentence for ever engraved in his memories - "Acquiring on field experience and training is by far the best way to learn" said late Louis Rey de Viger.

Driven by the will to exceed customers' expectations, Gerard Mahon has indisputably created strong ties and developed genuine customer intimacy with clients across several industries and sectors, namely private hospitals, thermal stations, sugar estates and refineries, hotels, textile industry, sugar estates, sea food hub, construction engineering, maritime and naval industry.

In & Out Trading, located at the North entrance of Port Louis, sells industrial valves, manufactured both in Europe, for instance in Germany, Turkey, Italy, and in China, so as to offer a comprehensive range of products at different prices.

In addition, this company offers a warranty of one year on its valves provided installation standards have duly been adhered to. "We attach much importance to the quality of the service and the products we sell. The brand Ayvaz and Ari which we represent, are not only certified 'European standards' but also offer high value for money owing to their affordable prices" says Mr. Mahon.

His son Ugo, who is in charge of all imports and has a proven track record in stock management, has been helping his father in managing the firm for now more than 5 years. Along with the qualified sales and support team, Ugo Mahon ensures an after-sales service almost 7 days a week.

To better cope with the growing demand and exigencies of its local and overseas clientele, for instance having innovative and in-stock products at hand, In & Out Trading is planning to move to new premises in the North suburb of Port Louis.

Despite the palpable gloominess due to the current economic slow down, Gerard Mahon positively foresees forthcoming developments and remains optimistic: "The economic crisis, added to the intense competition in the sector of the industrial valves and hardware has severely impacted on the turn-over of several businesses. included ours. But we remain confident as we have faced worse situations in the past".

The future thus looks bright ahead for this company which would like to thank all its customers who, thanks to their loyalty during those past 15 years, have been contributing to its success story.
